The FBS Series Mining Explosion-proof Press-in Double-stage Axle-flow Local Ventilator is a new generation per actual situation of coal mine driving ventilation in China. Factors such as coal mining features and the requirements for local ventilation are taken into consideration. The ventilator can significantly improve reliability in local ventilation of the gas mine, reduce unplanned wind stop on the driving face, and guarantee safe driving ventilation.

This ventilator consists of two-stage ventilators operating separately in series connection. Requirements for long distance driving ventilation can be achieved by operating two series connected ventilators simultaneously. The ventilator has a compact structure and is small in space; it has multiple operation modes, which is favorable for the user to optimize configuration of local ventilation equipment and improve equipment utilization efficiency.
This ventilator also adopts a quick assembly and disassembly structure. The fault segment can be removed with the quick joint and the new backup ventilator can be installed within the shortest wind stop time (i.e., before gas concentration rises to the lower limit of explosion).
This ventilator is a mining explosion-proof, noise-eliminating and double-stage axial-flow type of ventilator, it adopts a R+S impeller system. It consists of a current collector, a Stage I ventilator, a Stage II ventilator, a Stage I guide vane section, a Stage I impeller, a Stage II guide vane section, a Stage II impeller, a muffler diffusion tube, a motor, an engine base and other parts, as shown in Figure 1. The ventilator shell and structural components are welded with steel plate, the inner barrel is welded with the orifice plate, and it is lined with the noise-eliminating material; the motor is connected in the ventilator against the rabbet flange, and the air duct is constituted between the motor shell and the inner wall. Meanwhile, the quick joint is installed between Stage I ventilator and Stage II ventilator as well as between Stage II ventilator and muffler diffusion tube, so as to facilitate disassembly and install a spare ventilator .
The power supply voltage is 380/660V or 660/1140V, and does not exceed ±5% of the rated value. The operating frequency is 50Hz. The air supply amount of the roadway shall be larger than the maximum working air amount of the ventilator (except for that the ventilator is arranged on the ground).
The foundation for installing the ventilator shall be solid and free of water drenching surrounding. The height from the edge of the ventilator air inlet to the ground (or roof wall) shall not be less than 0.3m.
The conveying medium is air, the dust content shall not exceed 10mg/m3, the medium temperature is -20℃ to +35℃ (-4°F to 95°F), and the installation elevation of the ventilator is from -1,000m to +1,000m.
