In recent years, Yangquan City attaches great importance to the quality of work, the establishment of standardization and quality of strong city leadership group, comprehensively promote the quality of the city construction, has been elected by the provincial  government for two consecutive years as "the national promotion of quality work in a solid and effective city", the city's quality work see real achievements, remarkable results.

Yangquan Quality Award is the highest honor in the field of quality established by the municipal government, mainly awarded to enterprises with outstanding quality management level, outstanding independent innovation ability, leading economic and social benefits and benchmarking role, as well as individuals with outstanding quality achievements and outstanding contributions to the economic and social development of the city.

After an objective, fair and impartial selection, the results of the third Yangquan Quality Award were announced on November 10, 2022. Shanxi Huaxin Electric Co., LTD., Yangquan Jidong Cement Co., LTD., Yangquan Valve Co., LTD. 3 enterprises won the third Yangquan City Quality Award. This is the newly revised "Yangquan City Quality Award Management Measures" after the introduction of the first selection and commendation.
